Bob Slayer

Bob Slayer

Bob Slayer used to be a Jockey and was Karaoke Champion of Japan. Bob rose to notoriety as the unfeasibly drunk but unwaveringly dedicated manager of Japanese rock & rollers Electric Eel Shock. He became infamous throughout the rock scene as a tour manager who was often wilder than the acts he looks after. He has travelled the world with the likes of Iggy & The Stooges, Turbonegro and Snoop Dogg etc
In 2007 he was touring the UK with The Bloodhound Gang, they could not cope with the smoking ban and so half way through a gig they simply declared that they were going out for a smoke. Shoving Bob on stage with the words "our Tour Manager will entertain you..." then before leaving the stage adding "feel free to throw stuff at him". Having got through 1,500 BHG fans throwing stuff at him he soon worked out on subsequent gigs how to entertain a rabble and avoid being on the receiving end of missiles. Mostly by having a good laugh at the BHG expense…

In 2008 Bob took his first steps into comedy and has since gigged all over the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, France, Scandinavia and Hong Kong.
