Rob Mulholland

Rob Mulholland

Popular comedian Rob Mulholland fell into comedy after finding a flyer looking for acts to appear at Harrogate Comedy Festival on the ground outside his front door like he would have done in a film starring Bradley Cooper. In the years since, he has clocked up a huge amount of gigs all over the country ranging from tiny pubs to massive theatres and can now be seen most weekends in some of the biggest clubs in the country being proper fucking brilliant at comedy. Just as at home as an act or compere, he regularly induces labour/heart attacks with his intricately woven, gag-packed stories; adding a touch of the absurd to his askance glance at everyday life. Rob is 17 feet tall, made of steel and can jump over a mini cooper from a standing start.

Rob won Hilarity Bites New Act of the Year, Beat the Frog World Series Champion, Funhouse Comedy Champion of Champions in 2015 and came third in the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2016. After finishing runner-up in last year’s Great Yorkshire Fringe New Act of the Year has awarded himself the title of “Yorkshire’s Funniest Non-Musical Comedian”. He is also the official undisputed Champion of Comedy. He has appeared at the last three Edinburgh Fringe Festivals and debuted his first solo show “Popular Comedian Rob Mulholland” in 2017 to critical confusion and audience acclaim. It is set for DVD/streaming release in October 2017. Rob can be heard every week on high-quality podcast “Sort Your Life Out With Rob Mulholland”, ‘Yet Another Comedy Podcast’ with Danny Deegan and Tony Jameson, is the voice of Death on Panelbeaters, and has performed on BBCR4xtra
