Vlad Ilich

Vlad is a professional comedian with four awards on the London circuit, a TV credit and more than seven million views online.

He has been doing comedy for six years, in three languages, abroad and in the UK and has just returned from a successful Fringe run doing the criticall yacclaimed Big Value Comedy Shows with Just the Tonic.

He has won first place at the notorious King of the Gong show at the Comedy Store and received the One to Watch award at the well-established club Up the Creek which earned him the reputation of an outstanding newcomer. He is currently a finalist in Next Up’s competition Live or Die.

Vlad has appeared on BBC Three and BBC One. His short story Schrodinger’s Cat is the runner-up in the CCSW (Creative Culture South West) short story competition and is due to be published later this year.

As an actor, he has trained in Scotland and Malta.

He is currently working on his debut work-in-progress stand-up comedy show Hi, my name is Immigrant which will premiere on the Brighton, Cambridge and Camden Fringe before being taken to Edinburgh for the 2023 Fringe festival.

In his free time, Vlad enjoys playing chess and is a member of Prestwick chess club.
