Abigoliah Schamaun is a New York comic now based in London. She combines organic humor with an open heart Chakra; shaming her mid-west upbringing with her blue (yet persistently endearing) material.
Schamaun’s autobiographical style is often truly shocking, engaging, and delivered with deft timing. She appears to be the nice girl you’d take home to meet mother but possibly not leave alone with dad.
She has had international success touring in the US, UK, South East Asia, Norway, Denmark and Australia. Past festivals include: The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Glasgow International Comedy Festival, Magners Comedy Festival, TouMAZing, Aarhus Festuge, and the Adelaide Fringe Festival. She’s been on BBC Radio4 and was cast as a principal part in the TV pilot, “How Come I’m not Famous Yet.”
Abigoliah has an extensive background in theatre and improvisation and holds a BFA in Musical Theatre with minors in Creative Writing and German from The New School University, New York. She is also a certified Bikram Yoga Instructor. Both yoga and whiskey hold equal places in her heart. She would like to be on TV.
