FAQ

How do I book tickets?

Tickets can be booked online from Justthetonic.com. Click on the city you want and then the date of the event. Then simply use the drop down menu to select how many tickets you'd like to purchase. You can also book tickets over the phone on 0116 2625050 for Leicester or 0115 9100009 for Nottingham however we are not always by the phone so make sure to leave a message so we can get back to you.

How do I collect my tickets?

We will send an email confirmation to you once your tickets have been purchased. Just print this off and bring it with you on the night. Alternatively you can show us the confirmation from your phone thanks to all that new fangled technology!

Can I buy tickets on the door?

Yes, however they are slightly more expensive than when booked in advance so you can save some money if you plan ahead.

What kind of acts can I expect to see?

We pride ourselves on our great comedy line-ups. In the last year we've had Russell Howard, Reginald D.Hunter, Piff the Magic Dragon, Jon Richardson, Tiffany Stevenson, Sean Walsh, Ed Byrne, The Boy With Tape On His Face, Ardal O'Hanlon and loads more. There are also plenty of people you won't have heard of who are also excellant. On Thursdays in Leicester our Big Value Comedy Auditions showcase up and coming comedic talent from around the UK, keep an ee out for the stars of the future.

Do you serve food?

Yes. Our menu can be viewed under the 'more' tab at the top of the page. Food can be pre-ordered when you purhcase your tickets or bought on the night. Please be aware we stop taking food orders at 7:40pm on weekend shows.

Can I reserve seats?

No. Our venues have non-reserved seating so everything is on a first come, first serve basis. The earlier you arrive the better your seats.

How is the venue laid out?

Both venues are set out in cabaret style with chairs and tables but when the shows are busy we may have to get rid of the tables and switch to theatre style seating to accomdate for everyone.

What time does the show start/finish?

For our regular weekend shows the doors close at 7:30pm, please make sure you are here on time to guarantee entry and avoid dissapointment. The show will finish at around 10 - 10:30pm depending on the night, after the show we will clear away some of the chairs to make room for a dancefloor and you are welcome to drink and dance with us til early morning.

Are people allowed to talk during the performances?

No. We don't allow people to talk or heckle whilst the acts are on. If people are talking we ask them to be quiet and if they refuse we will ask them to leave, because we understand that you don't want your night ruined by a few people catching up over a pint rather than listening to some great comedy,

Are there any age restrictions?

Yes, our shows are strictly 18 apart fromt the occasional children's tour show..

You're probably the best comedy club in the country, how do you do it?

Well shucks, thanks for that, we just try our best to bring you the best acts for the best price week after week.
