Daniel Kitson is simply the best compere around. A big silly scruffy face and apparently carefree clothing (although we suspect a lot of thought has gone into this shambolic look) disguise a very smart brain. He keeps on winning awards n stuff for his Edinburgh shows.

We could write endless quotes, but I can't be bothered. We know that his fans want to go, and we don't need to sell him. It'd be embarrassing.

We suspect that one day he will have a shave live on stage, whip off his glasses, pull off his top and be a right buff and hit some rugby player and steal the girl.... maybe!

It might happen on this night. Probably won't, but all sorts of antics might occur
