Post Sadowitz, Ali Cook is the only UK magician to write and perform his own stand-up material in between contemporary magic effects.

Internationally renowned magician, comedian and actor, Ali Cook has been making waves across all three disciplines in recent years. He has written and starred in seven British television series including Penn & Teller: Fool Us, Dirty Tricks and Monkey Magic.
His debut Edinburgh show, Pieces of Strange, was in the top two percent of best-reviewed shows according to The British Comedy Guide. 2011 saw his third sell-out, and critically acclaimed Edinburgh show, Principles and Deceptions, which was nominated for a Broadway Baby 6 Star Award. Ali has recently starred in The Anomaly, sci-fi thriller The Call Up and the BAFTA nominated feature Kajaki.

Ali Cook’s mix of stand up and magic has made him a headliner on the UK comedy circuit, and he performs at celebrity events for the likes of JK Rowling and Damien Hirst. Ali has recently completed a sell-out UK tour of Principles and Deceptions, wowing audiences up and down the country and he has a new tour in the works for 2021.
