Alice Marshall

Alice is an award winning actress and character comedian.

 

Renowned for her own brand of weird and wonderful character comedy, she has taken three sell-out solo shows to the Edinburgh Festival, including 2017’s Blood which won the Best Comedy Award at the 2017 Brighton Fringe. A regular face on the BBC Three Quickies series, her characters have also appeared on Comedy Central UK and BBC Radio 4.

 

In 2019 she was cast as Atalanta in Mindy Kaling’s Hulu TV adaptation of Four Weddings and a Funeral, and also became the face of Andrew Doyle’s controversial satirical spoof character Titania McGrath, playing the role in the hit Edinburgh Festival run of Titania McGrath: Mxnifesto.

 

She is experienced in a wide variety of work both on stage and screen, and has used her comedic diversity to bring roles to life in everything from Shakespeare to modern drama.

 

Recent acting credits include feature film Winterlong alongside Doon Mackichan and Francis Magee, and BBC 2’s Theresa vs Boris: How May Became PM
