Dan Tiernan is an award winning and brilliantly erratic stand-up comic whose infectious energy lights up the stage, and storytelling pulls you right in.

In 2025, he debuted his 3rd hour ‘All In’ to a a sold-out run at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where he was nominated for Best Comedy Show, following his storming performances at Just For Laughs New Faces in Montreal. Earlier that year he released his first Stand-Up special ‘Full of Beans’ with 800 Pound Gorilla. Dan’s newest hour, ‘Quartz and All’, was nominated for Most Outstanding Show at the 2026 Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

In 2022, Tiernan was awarded The BBC New Comedy Award and named British Comedian Of The Year. On the road, he has supported Micky Flanagan, Fin Taylor and Jamali Maddix. He currently has a sitcom in development with BBC and Boffola.

Dan also made his TV acting debut in Doctors (BBC) other actors who began their careers in the daytime soap include Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Eddie Redmayne, Emilia Clarke, Jodie Comer and Claire Foy.
