Ed Kear is a fresh new voice on the stand-up comedy circuit. A winner of the Top Secret Comedy Gong Show, Ed has impressed in competitions and is making a name for himself in comedy circles.

Alongside his stand-up career, Ed has appeared in Hollywood films such as The Batman, Cruella, Venom: Let There Be Carnage  and Spy as well as British comedies such as BBC’s Ghosts, ITV’s Plebs and as Black Elton John in BBC’s Crims.

Having already appeared in blockbuster movies including The Batman (2022), Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021) and Cruella (2021), Bristol born Actor, writer-director and stand up Ed Kear is one of the most celebrated breakout stars in comedy.

In 2022 he completed his West End debut as ‘Davey’ in the much revered Jez Butterworth play Jerusalem alongside Oscar winner Mark Rylance. On screen he has amassed millions of views with web series’ and comedy sketches and is also a regular on British television. His latest BBC1 comedy Here We Go, in which Ed plays series regular Dean is due for its second series in 2023.

Already hailed as an exciting new name to break in stand up, Ed is already a regular at the UK’s leading venues.
