As a stand-up, she’s recently reached the finals of The Blackout at Up The Creek, Beat the Frog at the Frog and Bucket, the Backyard Comedy Knockout and Hastings New Act of the Year and has been hailed as “a talented performer combining social insight with quirky storytelling”.

As well as scripts, Madeleine writes about comedy for The Times Literary Supplement and her viral tweets have been picked up by The Sun, The Times, and the Washington Post.

Madeleine was nominated for the Funny Women Awards 2020, placing in the top 3 for the Best Comedy Writer award, and her scripts were runner-up and winning submissions at the British Animation Awards in 2022 and 2024. 

She is developing original projects with a range of production companies.
