Richard Herring

Richard Herring

British comedian and writer Richard Herring is probably most famous for his part in the double act 'Lee & Herring' with comedy veteran Stewart Lee.

During the 2000's Herring has toured with a new stand up show almost every year, including the controversial 'Hitler Moustache' in 2009, which sold out every night at the Edinburgh Festival. The idea was to see if he 'could reclaim thetoothbrush moustache for comedy – it was Chaplin's first, then Hitler ruined it.'

Richard is notorious for his radio work and podcasts, most recently writing them 48 hours before they are broadcast in 'Richard Herring - As It Occurs To Me' as well as various shows on BBC Radio 1, and 4, and BBC 6 Music.
