Sarah began performing comedy in 2010, quickly making her mark by becoming a Funny Women finalist the following year. In 2013 she won the Up The Creek ‘One To Watch’ award and was also a finalist in the Leicester Square Theatre New Act Competition.Sarah now performs at some of the best comedy venues in the UK including The Stand, Banana Cabaret, The Frog & Bucket and The Comedy Cellar and of course, Just the Tonic.
In 2014 she was named as ‘One to Watch’ by Time Out and in 2015 she took her critically-acclaimed debut hour show Elephant
to the Edinburgh Fringe. A confessional exploration of escape and ambition, Elephant
played to packed houses and received great reviews across the board. Sarah was widely heralded as an exciting new comedic voice, a status cemented by her Malcolm Hardee Award nomination for ‘Act Most Likely To Earn A Million Quid’. She also appeared on E4’s Virtually Famous
as a guest on Seann Walsh’s team. Elephant subsequently toured to the prestigious Soho Theatre for a run of shows in 2016, again to acclaim, and then on to the Perth and Sydney Comedy Festivals in Australia.
In 2016 Sarah was a guest on @elevenish
(ITV2) and she returned to the Fringe with her eagerly-awaited follow-up, 24
, which she once again took on to Australia for a second run of shows in the Sydney and Perth comedy festivals in 2017. Sarah returned to Edinburgh in 2017 for a limited run of her show,The Pigeon Dying Under the Bush,
and continues to take the live circuit by storm.
