Thenjiwe is a stand up comedian known for her quick wit and sharp tongue, which she often uses to poke fun at herself and the world around her. 

The lawyer-turned-com comic has entertained crowds throughout Australia, Europe, North America, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines, among other places. She is known as the "Queen of African Comedy" for her six comedy specials and her two well-liked sitcoms, Judge Thenjiwe Khambule and Meet the Khambules, which she wrote, produced, and starred in.

Thenjiwe's debut on the London scene has seen her win the King Gong Comedy at the Comedy Store and The Black Out at Up The Creek. She has a combined social media following of over a million and a half followers and in 2022 was awarded an honorary Doctorate degree for her community services. 

Thenjiwe has also acted and starred in multiple television shows including Imbewu, The Road and Harvest; and appears in the films 10 Days in Sun City, Accidental Spy, Uncovered (all available on Netflix) and various Mzansi Magic Movies.
