4pm Daniel Trengove - HORN
The rhino is going extinct! Professor Daniel Trengove, MD, PhD, is dedicated to saving these majestic beasts. His experimental conservation schemes have led to his prosecution in countries all over the world. He has been widely criticised by mainstream science and animal rights groups, but remains undeterred. Join him on a journey of nature, business, love, sex, AI, bankruptcy, divorce, and revelation.

6pm Edd Hedges - "Open Tabs"

Fresh from hosting the Apple #1 Comedy and True Crime podcast "Wisecrack"  Edd Hedges brings his new hour of stories and jokes to the Leicester comedy festival.

Over the last year, Edd has been travelling across America, picking up stories he’d like to tell you and quietly wondering whether you’ll find them funny. From appearing at a true crime convention, to receiving a lap dance from a 90-year-old stripper and more places he definitely shouldn’t have ended up, this is an hour built from things that actually happened -- or at least felt real at the time.

A regular at comedy clubs across the UK and North America, Edd has appeared at Montreal Just for Laughs, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Edinburgh Fringe festivals. Come see him before he embarks on his first US tour.

7.30pm Joshua Bethania - Untitled Document
Winner of So You Think You're Funny 2022, Joshua Bethania presents an early version of his second hour, exploring how he can be an optimist while being an unapologetic cynic. Teetering on the edge of madness, he asks: shouldn’t we all be a little mad? He hasn't figured out the conclusion yet – come see if he can figure it out. As seen on Comedy Central, BBC and Channel 4.

“Consistently boasting the most interesting line ups in the country”
