The Real Deal Comedy Jam was launched in 2002 as the brain child of three friends from Birmingham, England, Nathan Wilkins, Samuel Nelson and Damian Blackwood who call themselves JEP Entertainment Ltd.
All three friends were huge fans of the hit stand-up comedy show from America ‘Russell Simmon’s Def Comedy Jam’ and because of this were inspired to do something in the UK similar to the Def Comedy Jam. However they wanted to stamp their own mark on the comedy world by making there brand of comedy unique and distinctive.
