It's nearly next year! Hope you've had a good 2011. We've had a great time. Why not come and start 2012 with us. It'll be a hoot

What happens???

We've been putting on New Year's Eve Shows in Nottingham for over 10 years. They always sell out, they are always brilliant fun. The doors open around 6.45pm. You get to sit down with your chosen mates, drink, chat and eat (if you want). At around 8 - 8.30pm you get a show with a compere and 3 comedians. After that we all have a bit of fun time and dance about with all the stuff a party needs. Then at midnight the whole place goes mental and you see in the New Year with singing, having fun and dancing. You can even stay until 3am if you have it in you. Click here for tickets

Who Is On

A consummate stand-up who employs a deadly combination of charm and menace to exert a masterful control over any audience. A highly original and quirky performer, Roger Monkhouse`s trademark stage-prowling style and curious, inimitable manner have established him as one of the hottest names on the comedy circuit. Supremely confident, with audience banter down to an art form, Roger is happy to improvise freely but has no shortage of first class material in his armoury. A master of observational comedy with a routine that is universally and unfailingly hysterical. A sought after compere and headliner across the UK and internationally.

"unfailingly entertaining and skillfully able to pull punchlines, seemingly, out of thin air" Chortle

Not only one of the most sought-after acts on the comedy circuit but is widely acknowledged as one of the best writer/performers of comic songs in the country.

Mitch is a regular writer and performer on THE NOW SHOW (BBC Radio 4) and IT'S BEEN A BAD WEEK (BBC Radio 2). Three series of his successful Radio 4 show, MITCH's CRIMES AGAINST MUSIC have been broadcast so far. He also presents THE MITCH BENN MUSIC SHOW on BBC Radio 7.

"Song after song of exquisitely crafted satire" The Scotsman

"Well crafted, well sung, his songs are just plain funny" The Guardian

"Fresh, original and simply marvellous" Cue

"Essential viewing" Time Out

This is what Wikipedia have to say about him:

Ian Cognito is a British stand-up comedian known for his confrontational and aggressive style, and for being banned from more venues than anyone else. He is a regular headliner in the UK, and is proud of the fact that in over 20 years on the circuit, he has never appeared on television. Comparisons have been made to US comedians Lenny Bruce and Bill Hicks, and to the Glaswegian Jewish comic, Jerry Sadowitz.

Here's what The Guardian say about him:

'One of today's sharpest stand-ups… '

'one of the most invigorating live stand-ups in the land'

Darrell Martin is resident host as well as the club runner. The Times have said 'Darrell Martin really knows how to put on a show', so it must be true! Having been to many disappointing New Year Parties in his youth, he sees it as essential that people have a great time on this night. He will do the usual compere chit chat, banter and all... but there'll be surprises, games, maybe a raffle. Who knows what? When it comes to the end of the comedy he will make sure that you all are in fine form for the party. Midnight will be great, memorable and riotous.

(Editors Note: This is Darrell writing this and I'm looking at the line up thinking how brilliant it is. In the dressing room last night the acts were going on about what a strong bill it is. It's a great show... you will have a brilliant night)

“Consistently boasting the most interesting line ups in the country”
